For the fans of the most iconic doll in the world it could be a unique opportunity. It is news of these days in fact that the "Barbie Penthouse", the attic that was owned by Ruth and Elliot Handler, founders of the colossus of toys Mattel, has been put on sale for 10 million dollars. Inherited by the couple's daughter, Barbara Handler Segal, it was sold by her to the well-known interior designer Nicole Sassaman who, over the last decade, has been inspired by the most beloved doll of all time to decorate it and turn it into a style icon. The luxurious flat, which is part of a two-tower condominium with tennis courts, swimming pool, gym, lounge bar and boarding dock, boasts a surface area of approximately 300 square metres and houses three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Featuring high ceilings, fine woodwork, Venetian stucco walls, designer wallpaper and lighting by Holly Hunt, oak floors, the penthouse also has a glass wine cellar for 300 bottles. In the kitchen there is a quartz glass island with Calcutta marble splashback, made by the French company La Cornue. The large balcony offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the famous Griffith Observatory and another Los Angeles icon: the Hollywood sign.
