The property known as Red Gate Farm is located on the island of Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, facing the Atlantic Ocean. The town is also known for being the set of the famous movie "Jaws" directed by Steven Spielberg in 1975. The children and grandchildren of one of the most popular couples of all time, John Kennedy and his wife Jackie, played in its rooms and scenic outdoors of this iconic estate. Purchased in 1979 by Jacqueline Kennedy for a million dollars, estate’s name Red Gate Farm refers to the its previous identity as a simple sheep barn. The former first lady commissioned the renowned architect Hugh Newell Jacobson to design the elegant Cape Cod style main house, which was completed in 1981. In 2000, Jackie's daughter Caroline decided to expand the estate, which today covers 137 hectares. Currently set on five kilometers of private beach, the main six hundred square meter villa has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, a guest house, a pool and a tennis court. The asking price is 65 million dollars, about 57.5 million euro.
